「then」用法跟意思

1. then 然後，之後

then常常出現在句子的開頭，並且常常跟時間和次序有關。

例：Follow the road for three kilometers, then turn right.
沿路行駛3公里，然後右轉。

例：Let me finish this job, then we’ll go.
讓我把這工作做完，我們再走。

2. then 當時、那時

then除了有「然後」的意思，也有「那時、當時」的意思，這時通常出現在句尾。

例： We didn’t have the internet back then.
我們那時候並沒有網際網路。

例：I was working in the city then.
那時我在城裡工作。

3.now and then 偶爾、有時

now and then 是個英文片語，表達「偶爾、有時候」。

例：Every now and then, I look at my photo albums. 
我偶爾會看看我的相簿。
